Review: Jessica Rules the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey

Summary-
It’s one thing to find out you’re a vampire princess. It’s a whole other thing to actually rule. Newly married Jessica Packwood is having a hard enough time feeling regal with her husband, Lucius, at her side. But when evidence in the murder of a powerful elder points to Lucius, sending him into solitary confinement, Jessica is suddenly on her own. Determined to clear her husband’s name, Jessica launches into a full-scale investigation, but hallucinations and nightmares of betrayal keep getting in her way. Jessica knows that with no blood to drink, Lucius’s time is running out. Can she figure out who the real killer is—and whom she can trust—before it’s too late.

Review-
I read and loved the first in this series. So, it only stands to reason that I'd have a similar reaction to this book. I was amazed at how much of a ʺpage turnerʺ this book turned out to be. I loved everything about it. At first the main character was a little whiney and helpless and frightened of her own shadow. She quickly grew out of that mind frame. Not a moment to soon either. After that, the story was wonderful. Exactly how I had it all worked out in my head. I honestly can not describe how good this book is. I'm at a loss for words. The only 2 things I can say for certain are I loved it and anyone who likes mystery, betrayal, death, romance, jealousy and undying love in their Vamp story has to read this book!
