Review: Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side (Jessica #1) by Beth Fantaskey

Summary-
The undead can really screw up your senior year ...
Marrying a vampire definitely doesn’t fit into Jessica Packwood’s senior year “get-a-life” plan. But then a bizarre (and incredibly hot) new exchange student named Lucius Vladescu shows up, claiming that Jessica is a Romanian vampire princess by birth—and he’s her long-lost fiancé. Armed with newfound confidence and a copy of Growing Up Undead: A Teen Vampire’s Guide to Dating, Health, and Emotions, Jessica makes a dramatic transition from average American teenager to glam European vampire princess. But when a devious cheerleader sets her sights on Lucius, Jess finds herself fighting to win back her wayward prince, stop a global vampire war—and save Lucius’s soul from eternal destruction.

Review-
This book is quickly climbing to the top of my vampire best reads list. It is an action pack book that promises everything from action to romance and it doesn't disappoint. Jessica is a strong character that i admire so much. She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it and she isn't afraid to go after it. She is a simple girl living a simple life but her life suddenly becomes complicated when a certain vampire comes along and helps her to fall head over heels for him.
This is a classic story that i would love for my grandchildren to read someday. and I know they Will get as much pleasure as i did. the story line is well written and executed well. It is a story for all times. The characters are well defined and written in a way that makes you come to love them. They are easy to attach to and the story is easy yo follow. If you haven't read a good vampire story lately pick this one up. It is a classic for generations to come.

  1. I LOVED THIS BOOK. I wanted to take Jessica's place and take Lucius through the whole thing (it helps that my name is Jessica haha).
